Fees

Lesson fees vary according to length. $30 for 30 minutes, $45 for 45 minutes, $60 for 60 minutes. Sometimes extra time is added before or afterwards if we're preparing for a festival or recital.

Tuition is paid either all up front or half at registration/half at the midpoint of the semester. There is a $25 registration fee for each student.  

There are 16 lessons in the fall and spring semesters. I sometimes offer up to 6 lessons over the summer, which are planned around our vacation schedules.

Cancellations

Please cancel by noon on the day of your lesson. Text or call me at (501) 240-6741, or send an email to dr.susan.robbins@gmail.com. This is so that I can let another student use the time or adjust my schedule. Shorter notice is acceptable in true emergency situations, such as illness or bad weather. 

In the event that I myself have to cancel a lesson, I'll let you know as soon as possible beforehand, and will provide a make-up lesson within that semester.

 

Punctuality

Students are expected to be on time for their lessons, whether in-person or virtual. If another student is scheduled right after you, I can't extend your lesson to make up for lost time.

 

Student Demeanor and Behavior

Students should be respectful and pay attention to what I say. 

Clean hands and short fingernails are recommended. Hand sanitizer is provided.

Students should treat the studio pianos and other property with respect. If they damage or lose any property (including books I've loaned to them), the parent or student will be expected to pay for its repair or replacement.
